These Exploratory Units will engage and teach children ages 3-6 years old to make the small steps you take every day to make our world a better place! Our Exploratory Units are versatile and can be used in traditional instruction or emergent learning.
Weather and Climate
The teacher and children will meet with an older person, or a climate “expert” and conduct a short interview about weather and climate change.
Trash Trackers
Children will explore the concept of trash by listening to a story and investigating the cycle of trash in their school and/or home environments.
Pollution
Children will play a matching game after they discuss the different types of pollution.
